The first airing of the 2nd Section Area test piece ‘Pilgrims Progress’ by Rodney Newton by the band at the Oxford and District Brass Band Associations winter contest. Although only getting placed third in the small second section entry, the band will take this experience forwards to the Area qulifying contest at Stevenage on Sunday 19th March.

Addlestone Success
YWDB were awarded the top spot at this years Challanging Brass competition hosted by the Addlestone Community Association. Four bands each performed a 30 minute programme adjudicated by Lieutenant-Colonel (Retd) Dr Nick Grace OBE that included a set test peice ‘The Platinum Jubilee March’ by Chris Shelton.
